About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to collect in-store product data. Using a downloadable app on a mobile phone, associates scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps, and provide quantity information for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The role involves weekly display scanning throughout the store, which can take several hours, as well as custom projects requested by clients. Custom projects occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to two hours per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and provide accurate, dependable work. The position averages 2–4.5 base hours per week across stores, depending on store size and workload, with additional project hours frequently assigned. Work is scheduled across 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. The designated route is a grocery store in Dudley, Massachusetts, with available workdays of Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
