About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phones and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role involves weekly in-store data collection at assigned local retailers for 52 weeks per year, including holiday weeks. Associates complete display scanning throughout each store and may also perform Custom Projects that gather more specific product details in main stocking locations. Custom Projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours per store. Meeting weekly deadlines and delivering accurate work are critical.

This permanent part-time position averages 5–8 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. The route includes stores in Seguin and New Braunfels, Texas. Scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The work offers independence and some flexibility, with continuous physical activity throughout the workday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
