About The Position

The Retail Scan Associate visits designated local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

The role involves weekly display scanning throughout the assigned store and may include custom projects that request more detailed information about products in main stocking locations. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and work independently with accuracy. The position averages 2–4 base hours per week across all assigned stores, with additional hours often assigned for special projects. Work is scheduled across 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks; the route lists Monday and Tuesday as available workdays. The position is permanent and part-time.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven, self-starting approach.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.
