About The Position

ScanScape is hiring permanent, part-time Retail Scan Associates to collect in-store data at assigned local retailers each week throughout the year, including holiday weeks. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They also provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates visit designated stores within weekly deadlines and complete display scanning throughout each store, which can take several hours. Custom Projects, which request more specific product details in main stocking locations, occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Base hours average 4–10 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload; additional special-project hours are frequently assigned, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The role offers independence and some flexibility in working hours. Work involves continuous physical activity throughout the shift. The listed route includes stores in Stratham, Epping, and Hampton, New Hampshire, with specified available workdays. Applicants need a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, reliable Wi-Fi, and access to a mobile phone for the scanning app.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle with at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
