About The Position

ScanScape is hiring a permanent part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit assigned local retail stores each week and collect in-store product data. Associates use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They also report quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. The role averages 4–10 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. Store scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. Associates complete weekly store-wide display scans and may perform Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store in a given week. Work is assigned throughout the year for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks, and must be completed by weekly deadlines. The route includes a convenience store in Stratham, New Hampshire, available Sunday through Thursday, and grocery stores in Epping and Hampton, New Hampshire, available Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. The position offers workplace independence and some flexibility in hours, while requiring ongoing physical activity during the workday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
Be able to remain on one's feet for extended periods while accessing products throughout a store.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
