About The Position

As a Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you represent the company in its stores and promote and sell products and services to new and existing customers. The role focuses on enhancing the customer experience and supporting a culture of exceptional customer care while meeting sales, service, and operational goals. The position pays a base rate of $18.00 per hour, with potential earnings of $22.95 per hour through commission and incentives. The role requires a flexible schedule and regular attendance. Work takes place in a moderately noisy retail environment and involves prolonged standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and following Spectrum's dress code.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency with computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.

• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
