About The Position

As a part-time Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you will promote and sell the company’s products and services to existing and new customers. You will help enhance the customer experience and support a culture of exceptional customer care at store locations. The role offers base pay of $18.00 per hour, with potential earnings of $22.50 per hour through commission and incentives, as well as free and discounted internet, TV, and mobile services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Interpersonal skills to build partnerships across the organization.
• Self-motivation, a competitive spirit, and a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule and regular attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create positive customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships through effective listening, overcoming objections, and communicating the value of Spectrum products.
• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
• Help maintain a welcoming store atmosphere and a clean retail experience.
• Communicate effectively, follow policies, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.
