About The Position

As a part-time Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you will promote and sell the company’s products and services to existing and new customers. You will represent Spectrum in the store, help enhance the customer experience, and contribute to a culture of exceptional customer care. The role offers base pay of $18.00 per hour, with the potential to earn $24.43 per hour through commission and incentives, as well as free and discounted internet, TV, and mobile services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self-motivation, a competitive spirit, and a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build positive customer relationships, listen effectively, overcome objections, and communicate the value of Spectrum products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, and promotions, as well as visual standards, while minimizing product losses.
• Help maintain a welcoming store atmosphere and clean retail experience.
• Communicate effectively, adhere to policies, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.
