About The Position

As a Retail Sales Specialist at Spectrum, you represent the company and promote and sell its products and services to existing and new customers. The role focuses on enhancing the customer experience and fostering exceptional customer care at store locations while meeting sales, service, and operational goals. Compensation includes base pay plus the potential to earn additional pay through commission and incentives. The position also offers free and discounted internet, TV, and mobile services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
• Comfort using personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficiency with computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
• Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective communication with employees and customers in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
• Self-motivation, a competitive spirit, and a desire to exceed sales goals.
• Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1–5 years of sales or customer service experience.
• 1–3 years of telecommunications or wireless experience.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
• Identify sales opportunities and create positive customer experiences through product support and education.
• Build customer relationships through effective listening, overcoming objections, and communicating the value of Spectrum products.
• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards while minimizing product losses.
• Help maintain a welcoming store atmosphere and clean retail experience.
• Communicate effectively, follow policies, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.
