About The Position
The Retail Sales Representative connects customers with the T-Mobile brand in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment. The role focuses on delivering customer service, building lasting customer and colleague relationships, and developing knowledge of wireless products, devices, and pricing plans. Compensation includes base pay and commission, with the posting advertising earnings of up to $20+ per hour all in. The representative helps operate the retail facility alongside store management, supports sales and service transactions, maintains store standards, and works toward assigned performance metrics. Essential functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of retail and/or sales experience with a strong customer focus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
- Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to problem solve, analyze results, plan for the future, and make good decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer phones, assess customer needs, and provide world-class customer service.
- Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
- Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across all business channels.
- Work with store management to open, close, and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits according to operations control standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail store standards.
- Explore customer needs and assist with service activations, changes, bill payments, equipment replacement, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
- Achieve assigned performance metrics.
