About The Position

Nordstrom Rack is hiring seasonal and regular team members for Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments at Clackamas Promenade Rack. Team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborate to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, provide customers with a quick and easy experience, and keep the store clean and clutter-free. Employees may work in different areas of the store based on business needs. Sales and Customer Service duties include maintaining and replenishing the salesfloor, assisting customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, operating point-of-sale systems, supporting fitting rooms, returning merchandise to the floor, organizing stockrooms, checking in and ticketing merchandise, using store technologies, following operational and asset protection standards, and promoting Nordstrom Rewards. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and processing freight, delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders to quality standards, using inventory management systems, maintaining clean and organized sales floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support such as preparing special events, organizing backrooms, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures. The role involves continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use. Employees handle bulky items, regularly lift up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Stock and Fulfillment team members frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. The listed pay range is $19.15–$19.95 per hour, depending on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, clutter-free, organized store and salesfloor.
Keep the salesfloor runway-ready by replenishing, straightening, and re-merchandising merchandise.
Assist customers with transactions across in-store, online, and mobile platforms, including operating point-of-sale systems and handling and bagging merchandise.
Support fitting rooms by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor.
Organize stockrooms and ensure merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed.
Demonstrate expertise with technologies used in the store.
Follow operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.
Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner and prepare orders for shipment according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing backrooms, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
