About The Position
The Retail Sales & Merchandising Representative promotes nationally distributed products in convenience and retail stores. The role focuses on building professional relationships with store management and associates, increasing product visibility and sales, and supporting the presentation and availability of products in assigned stores. Representatives travel to multiple stores within a territory and work independently.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be comfortable using a smart device.
- Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple stores in a territory.
- Willingness to transport required materials.
Nice To Haves
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sell new and promotional items to gain shelf placement.
- Sell products and build displays.
- Stock shelves with products.
- Build rapport with store management and staff.
- Ensure planogram compliance, including correct pricing and signage.
- Monitor inventory levels and suggest order quantities to management.
