About The Position

Savage X Fenty is seeking a driven and passionate Full-Time Retail Sales Lead for their store at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY. The Sales Lead will report to the Store Manager and will be crucial in supporting daily store operations and team development. This role involves fostering a fearless, confident, and inclusive team environment to deliver the Savage x Fenty experience. The Sales Lead will collaborate with the Store Manager to uphold the company's values and culture, contributing to the brand's retail presence. Requirements

  • 1-2 years in a customer-facing role, preferably in lingerie and intimates within a high-volume retail environment.
  • Flexible and reliable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business needs.
  • Ability to approach ambiguity and challenges with positivity and a growth mindset.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate vision and purpose.
  • Tech-savvy or strong comfort with technology as a component of daily responsibilities.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated to take ownership of tasks and ensure solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team selling environment.
  • Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold an inclusive store culture reflective of brand values, leading to engaged associates and outstanding customer experiences.
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities, including opening/closing, bank deposits, driving productivity, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming sales floor.
  • Achieve KPI targets, budgets, and objectives by fostering a culture of accountability for individual and overall performance.
  • Engage customers by providing knowledge on product fabrics, features, fit, and function.
  • Provide training and immediate feedback on the Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat, etc.).
  • Inspire associates to meet/exceed individual and team performance goals in coordination with the Store Manager.
  • Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to ensure the store is easy to shop and adds value to the customer's purchase journey.
  • Provide and nourish feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
  • Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding store objectives related to Performance, Productivity, Efficiency, and Quality standards.
  • Serve as a product knowledge resource for customers and team members.
  • Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
  • Maintain all safety and security standards and identify/communicate potential issues.
  • Support inventory controls through accurate receiving/transferring of product, participating in inventory counts, and maintaining an organized back of house.
  • Assist with visual merchandising standards in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business or operational needs.
