About The Position

See’s Candies is seeking a Retail Sales Lead Supervisor to help lead its retail team and ensure smooth shop operations. The role involves guiding team members, driving sales initiatives, maintaining excellent customer service, and overseeing day-to-day activities in accordance with company guidelines. The position reports to the Shop Manager and collaborates closely with the Shop Management Team. The supervisor helps create a positive, sales-focused and customer-focused environment, supports employee training and development, and assists with customer and employee concerns. The role also includes merchandising, cash handling, asset protection, banking, inventory management, payroll approvals, and other administrative duties. The pay rate is $26.22 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
Proven success developing, motivating, training, and coaching employees.
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong cash-handling and merchandising ability.
Ability to follow, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures.
Strong work performance.
Proven ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales-driven team.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and positively.
Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including packing candy, stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking for the entire shift, and frequently lifting up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Internal applicants must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

Assist the Shop Manager in providing effective leadership to the retail team and fostering a sales-focused and customer-focused environment.
Motivate and guide team members to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
Oversee day-to-day retail location operations in accordance with company guidelines.
Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and product presentation requirements.
Assist in resolving customer and employee concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
Assist with training and developing team members on company programs, policies, and procedures.
Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers through effective engagement.
Assist with cash-handling, company asset protection, and banking procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and safety protocols.
Assist with inventory management, ensuring accuracy and proper inventory levels, and communicating inventory needs and trends to management.
Submit required paperwork in a timely manner, including payroll approvals and other administrative tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
