About The Position

The Service Assistant works with other members of the service team to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires adapting to a rapidly changing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively. It offers an opportunity to gain experience, learn, and develop a career in the automotive industry.

The position provides a world-class experience to Lucid clients and supports vehicle movements, service operations, and vehicle handovers. Duties may also include basic repair assistance and other tasks that support the service department.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have basic automotive knowledge.
• Be willing to obtain forklift certification after hire.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Be willing to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
• Have a valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have held a driver's license for at least three years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire.
• Be available for full-time work, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a world-class customer experience to internal and external Lucid clients.
• Drive vehicles, including dropping off or picking up customer vehicles and loaners, running vehicles to the Bodyshop, and test-charging at Electrify America charge stations.
• Arrange Lyft rides for internal vehicle moves upon request.
• Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) carrier preparation and vehicle handover; help with check-in when needed.
• Assist technicians with basic repairs in the shop.
• Perform other assigned duties, including moving and staging vehicles, delivering parts, washing vehicles, and assisting the service department as needed.
