About The Position

The Retail Sales Lead Supervisor leads the sales team and helps ensure the smooth operation of a See’s Candies retail shop. The role provides guidance to team members, drives sales initiatives, supports excellent customer service, and oversees day-to-day store activities. The position reports to the Shop Manager and collaborates closely with the Shop Management Team. The supervisor assists the Shop Manager with team leadership, sales and customer service, store operations, merchandising, staff development, cash handling, inventory management, and administrative tasks. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays and the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including standing or walking throughout the shift and frequently lifting up to 25 pounds. The pay rate is $26.22 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
Proven success developing, motivating, training, and coaching employees.
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong cash-handling and merchandising ability.
Ability to follow, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures.
Strong work performance.
Proven ability to grow the business by identifying sales opportunities and developing a sales-driven team.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and positively.
Physical ability to perform the essential job functions, including packing candy, stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking for the entire shift, and frequently lifting up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Internal applicants must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

Assist the Shop Manager in leading the retail team and fostering a sales- and customer-focused environment.
Motivate and guide team members to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
Oversee day-to-day retail location operations in accordance with company guidelines.
Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and product presentation requirements.
Assist in resolving customer and employee concerns professionally and promptly.
Assist with training and developing team members on company programs, policies, and procedures.
Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers through effective engagement.
Assist with cash-handling, company asset protection, and banking procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and safety protocols.
Assist with inventory management, including maintaining inventory accuracy and levels and communicating needs and trends to management.
Submit required paperwork promptly, including payroll approvals and other administrative tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
