About The Position

This position has primary responsibility for sales activities including greeting customers, answering questions, suggesting/upselling products, offering samples of products to customers, processing payments, keeping the selling floor stocked, addressing customer complaints, and assisting in the display of merchandise. Tattersall River Falls is a destination distillery, event center, and dining experience, offering a world-class cocktail room and full-service restaurant, along with catering and coordination for onsite weddings, corporate meetings, and special events. The Tattersall culinary team prepares elevated New American cuisine, using fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients whenever possible. Tattersall is operated by Morrissey Hospitality, which is composed of nearly two dozen unique restaurant, hotel, and event concepts. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Availability to work nights and weekends.
Ability to position self to move about.
Ability to operate and use tools and equipment.
Ability to communicate with guests, employees, and management.
Ability to move up to 42 pounds frequently.
Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Recommends, selects, and helps locate or obtain merchandise.
Answers questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
Computes sales prices, totals purchases, and receives and processes payments.
Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Tickets, arranges, and displays merchandise to promote sales.
Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Communicates necessary information to Supervisor regarding product, usage, and additional items requested by clients.
Exchanges merchandise for customers and accepts returns; places special orders.
Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas.
Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages when legal age is questionable (under the age of 30).
Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
