About The Position

Tattersall in River Falls, WI is immediately hiring Servers. This position is responsible for performing serving activities within the restaurant, focusing on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences with pride, passion, and heart. Tattersall River Falls is a destination distillery, event center, and dining experience, featuring over 75,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. It offers a world-class cocktail room, a full-service restaurant, and onsite catering and coordination for weddings, corporate meetings, and special events. The culinary team specializes in elevated New American cuisine, prioritizing fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients. Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years related experience in a high-volume, high energy, food and beverage environment.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Alcohol Service certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk, squat, reach, use hands, talk, hear, see and occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests in a timely and professional manner, takes guests orders, and serves food and beverages according to standards and established service sequence.
  • Responds to guest questions and provides suggestions regarding food and beverages with an aggressive approach to up selling.
  • Monitors and observes guests dining experience to respond to additional needs or requests
  • Enters orders into Point-of-Sale System, maintains accurate guests cover counts, totals receipts correctly, verifies sales, and collects payment for all food and beverages served.
  • Refreshes tables, transports dirty dishes, and communicates with host regarding guest seating, table arrangement, and table turnover.
  • Thoroughly knowledgeable on the menu, various daily specials, and beverages.
  • Ensures the cleanliness and organization of designated work areas.
  • Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages and monitors guest alcohol consumption.
