About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate sells health and natural food and products to Fruitful Yield retail store customers and provides excellent customer service. The role assists customers with product selection and locating merchandise, operates the point-of-sale system, stocks and displays products, manages inventory and storage, and helps maintain a clean and safe store.

Responsibilities

Greet customers on the sales floor, determine what merchandise they are looking for, and help them locate products.
Display merchandise, suggest selections that meet customers' needs, and explain product selling points such as quality and utility.
Operate the POS system, prepare sales slips or contracts, receive payments or obtain credit authorization, and bag merchandise.
Record out-of-stock items and special customer needs in need notes or order books.
Place new merchandise on display and stock shelves neatly by product type, brand, and size.
Rotate stock and check for outdated goods.
Prepare and maintain stock inventories.
Count, sort, or weigh incoming products and verify deliveries against requisitions or invoices.
Inspect stock for specification compliance, damage, or infestation.
Compile reports concerning inventory adjustments, stock records, spoilage or damage, location changes, and refused shipments.
Determine appropriate storage, identification, and stock locations, considering relevant environmental and space requirements.
Store products in appropriate locations according to identifying information such as style, size, or material type.
Help maintain a clean store, including sweeping, mopping, washing windows, and cleaning restrooms.
Comply with safety and GMP requirements.
