As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You understand customer needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect customers with appropriate products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and effective selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and inspire customer loyalty. The role is more than cashiering: customer service is central to the work. You also help keep the shopping area clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and popular items, and stay current on trends and promotions. During customer interactions, they offer a warm welcome and create personal conversations. They maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and merchandise selected for return to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another and work to improve, meet sales goals, and contribute to individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
