Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Montebello Town Center
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You foster a warm environment that encourages customers to return and support your team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare the sales floor for customers, stay informed about goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with warm, personal service. They recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with coworkers to serve customers and communities. They continually seek to improve, take pride in their work, achieve sales goals, and learn from one another. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week; part-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 12–24 hours per week.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Be able to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized, customer-ready sales floors, merchandise displays, and fitting rooms.
- Review goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions to stay informed and ready to sell.
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that encourage them to return.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
- Collaborate with coworkers and support the team in achieving sales goals and store results.
- Use electronic devices and process register transactions as needed.
