About The Position

At PGA TOUR Superstore, a Soft Goods Associate helps drive sales and enhance the Customer experience in Men’s and Women’s Apparel, Juniors, Footwear, Clearance, and Fitting Rooms. The Associate provides world-class service, develops lasting Customer relationships, maintains product knowledge, and keeps merchandise and sales areas stocked, visually appealing, clean, and operational. The role also supports front-end operations and works with the team and management to deliver a high-quality shopping experience.

The position requires strong communication, organization, accountability, and the ability to learn business practices with training. Associates must be able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, move throughout the store, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate cross-functionally.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines and objectives.
• Ability to learn business acumen with appropriate training.
• Strong self-accountability and a proactive drive for results.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb up and down a ladder, move throughout the store, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead.

Responsibilities

• Engage Customers throughout Soft Goods areas and provide world-class service to build lasting relationships.
• Assist Customers in Men’s and Women’s Apparel, Juniors, Footwear, Clearance, and Fitting Rooms.
• Maintain working knowledge of front-end operations, including returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty awards, discounts, promotions, and coupons, and provide assistance as needed.
• Keep Soft Goods merchandise stocked and visually appealing to support sales and the Customer experience.
• Ensure Soft Goods areas, equipment, and supplies are maintained and operational.
• Maintain a clean and professional presentation in Soft Goods areas.
• Explain product features, benefits, and differences using in-depth product knowledge.
• Promote ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across departments.
• Stay informed about merchandising promotions and marketing events and maintain merchandising presence throughout promotions using bulletins on The Links.
• Inform, educate, and promote products and services to Customers.
• Provide the Sales and Service Manager with feedback on operational and merchandising opportunities.
