About The Position

AutoZone store teams deliver customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate provides automotive advice, recommends products and promotions, contributes to sales goals, and helps maintain a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role also includes restocking and organizing merchandise, following cash-handling, loss-prevention, and safety procedures, assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.

• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
