About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain well-stocked inventory, and support store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service, offers automotive advice, and contributes to sales and a positive retail environment. The role includes recommending products and promotions, restocking and organizing merchandise, following cash handling and loss prevention procedures, and assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations. Associates use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, and follow company safety policies and use PPE. The schedule is full-time and flexible, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of PPE.
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
