About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by assisting customers with product selection and advice, maintaining inventory and store organization, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions, and diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to maintain a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following established processes and company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
