About The Position

Verizon is hiring a full-time, Spanish-bilingual Retail Sales Associate to work onsite at a defined retail location. The role focuses on generating sales, delivering exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs, and recommending complete technology solutions. Associates receive ongoing training and can develop skills in retail operations, merchandising, and inventory. The position may also involve contacting interested Verizon customers by phone or text and representing Verizon at sponsored community events.

The role offers a starting base pay rate of $18.27 per hour for the listed location, with commission-based earning potential. The posting also describes base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, potential annual individual commissions, and possible additional bilingual compensation in eligible locations after passing a language assessment. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using technology knowledge and customer service skills.
• Uncover customers’ needs by building connections and asking questions.
• Recommend products and solutions that address customers’ needs.

• Participate in ongoing training and develop operational skills in merchandising and inventory.
• Contact interested current Verizon customers by phone or text to build a customer base.
