About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to serve clients in a high-energy, fast-paced salon environment. The role focuses on providing professional customer service, building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services. Team members are expected to meet minimum sales requirements, support salon cleanliness, and work collaboratively while following company policies and procedures. The position may also require working independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to provide professional customer service and build relationships with clients.
Ability to recommend products and services and maintain minimum sales requirements.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon environment.
Ability to work cohesively with a team and follow company policies and procedures.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment and bend down to pick up items from floors.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Use basic computer skills and knowledge.
Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
Engage with clients, build relationships, and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services.
Maintain minimum sales requirements.
Multitask, including cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging with new clients as they arrive.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
Work independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
