Retail Sales Associate - Smart Cart - Lehigh Valley Area
About The Position
WIS International is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to introduce customers to an interactive Smart shopping cart and help make shopping easier and more enjoyable. The role involves demonstrating the cart, teaching customers how to use it, assisting with issues, collecting feedback, encouraging adoption, and providing friendly customer service. The position is part-time and serves the Lehigh Valley area, with hiring locations listed as Fogelsville, Macungie, Allentown, Whitehall, and Kutztown. Work hours may vary and include traditional and non-traditional flexible hours. Travel and training wages vary based on local WIS office wages; candidates are advised to ask their recruiter for details. The role requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, regular hand and wrist use including repetitive motions, lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds, and travel by car. Employees must be able to work for the entire duration of their assigned project. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Comfort using and explaining new technology, with a basic understanding of AI technology and user interfaces.
- Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to introduce and demonstrate the interactive Smart shopping cart.
- Conduct brief tutorials explaining how to use the cart and its features and benefits.
- Provide on-the-spot assistance and troubleshoot customer difficulties.
- Collect customer feedback and relay it to the development team.
- Encourage customers to try and continue using the shopping cart.
- Collaborate with store management and the Smart Cart team to ensure the cart meets customer needs and expectations.
- Answer questions, assist customers throughout their shopping experience, offer recommendations, and provide exceptional service.
