About The Position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will work with a team in a Verizon retail store to drive sales and provide customer service. You will identify customers’ needs, recommend product insights and solutions, and close sales by communicating clearly and offering intuitive technology solutions. The role also includes ongoing training in merchandising and inventory, outreach to interested Verizon customers by phone and text, and opportunities to connect with the community at Verizon-sponsored off-site events. The position is onsite and scheduled for 40 hours per week. Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish. Compensation includes base pay of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour and individual commissions, with potential additional earnings based on sales performance. Bilingual speakers in eligible locations may receive an additional $3,000 annually after passing a language assessment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
• Openness to picking up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales through technology knowledge and customer service.
