About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate is the store’s customer service specialist and reports to the Store Manager. The role focuses on exceeding customer expectations by listening to customers, identifying suitable products, providing detailed product information, and closing sales. The position is for the holiday season, with work expected during November and December 2026. Employees must be available for the specified Black Friday and holiday periods. The role averages 12 or more hours per week based on business seasonality, with availability required for at least two weeknights from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM and all day Saturday and Sunday. Religious exemptions will be considered.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts and percentages.
• Ability to stand for long periods and read computer terminals.
• Ability to push, pull, or move objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
• High school diploma or GED, or six months of retail or related experience.
• Average availability of 12 or more hours per week, based on business seasonality.
• Availability for at least two weeknights from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM and all day Saturday and Sunday.
• Availability during the specified holiday periods: Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, and Friday, November 27; Friday, December 18 through Saturday, December 26.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain brand and operational standards, including visual presentation and cleanliness.
• Proactively manage customer needs and exceed expectations by following the UNIQLO service standard and Fundamental Principles, including saying the six standard phrases.
• Understand fitting-room standards and assist when needed.
• Act as cashier when required, following cashier protocol.
• Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor in a full size run.
• Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues.
• Provide customers with product and brand knowledge.
• Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
