About The Position

AutoZone store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain well-stocked and organized inventory, contribute to sales and store performance, and support smooth store operations. They learn about automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The role requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
