About The Position

Cuyana is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its Nolita store. The role focuses on personalized customer service, product and brand knowledge, sales, store operations, and supporting the Cuyana community. The associate helps customers with purchases and other service needs while contributing to store and personal sales targets. They also support stockroom organization, inventory, visual standards, order fulfillment, and retail and community events. Responsibilities may change based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 6 months of customer-facing, sales-driven experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, check customers into appointments, and request client information for further outreach.
Provide personalized customer service and engagement by building relationships with clients.
Develop expertise in Cuyana products and the brand, and represent Cuyana as an ambassador.
Assist customers with purchases, returns, and exchanges.
Pull sizes and products from stock and assist with monogramming, bagging, and gift wrapping.
Contribute to daily personal and store sales targets.
Receive and process stock transfers.
Work with management to organize the stockroom, prioritize based on sales, and maximize available space.
Maintain, clean, and organize the stockroom and store; merchandise under the direction of the manager and product team.
Assist with showroom inventory organization and restocking, and uphold floor visual standards, including tags, stuffing, and steaming.
Process phone orders and coordinate in-store pickup and same-day courier deliveries when available.
Help teammates during peak season and support retail and community events.
