As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, provide personalized recommendations, connect them with suitable products and services, and use product knowledge and a personal approach to build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire loyalty. The role involves more than cashiering: customer service, sales, teamwork, and creating welcoming experiences are central to the work. You help keep the shopping area clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, you prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and get ready to engage customers. During the day, you welcome and assist customers, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty program benefits, and close interactions with sincere thanks. The position is part-time. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The role requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical duties include talking, lifting, frequent movement, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Colleagues must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds. The job also requires visual abilities and frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and a cash register.
