About The Position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate Spanish Bilingual, you will work with a retail team to drive sales and provide customer service. You will learn about customers’ needs, recommend solutions, and close sales using communication skills and technology knowledge. The role also includes ongoing training and development in merchandising and inventory operations, contacting interested Verizon customers by phone or text, and engaging with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events. The position is based onsite at a defined location. Scheduled weekly hours are 40. The starting base pay rate for the location listed on the requisition is $16.59 per hour. The posting also describes a base-pay range of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, commissions, and potential additional earnings, with actual compensation varying by geography, hours worked, and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to pick up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using technology knowledge and customer service skills.
• Discover customers’ needs by making connections and asking questions.
• Recommend products and solutions that provide customers with a complete sales solution.
• Close sales by communicating effectively and presenting intuitive technology solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Contact interested current Verizon customers by outbound calls and text messages to grow the customer base.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events.
