Retail Sales Associate Spanish Bilingual
About The Position
Verizon is hiring a full-time, Spanish-bilingual Retail Sales Associate to work onsite at a defined retail location. The role focuses on generating sales through technology knowledge and customer service, understanding customer needs, recommending solutions, and closing sales. Associates also complete ongoing training in merchandising and inventory, may contact interested Verizon customers by phone or text, and can participate in Verizon-sponsored community events. The position offers 40 scheduled hours per week and compensation consisting of hourly base pay and individual commissions. Eligible bilingual employees may receive additional annual compensation after passing a language assessment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Openness to picking up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities
- Generate retail sales using knowledge of technology and customer service.
- Learn and uncover customers’ needs by building connections and asking questions.
- Present product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete sales solutions.
- Close sales by communicating effectively and offering simple, intuitive technology solutions.
- Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory operations.
- Place outbound calls and send text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events to expand the customer base.
