Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Pentagon City
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You maintain a clean, organized, visually engaging, and customer-ready store by caring for merchandise displays and fitting rooms. With a friendly, approachable manner, you support customers and help the team achieve sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare the sales floor for customers, stay informed about goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with warm, personal service. They maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another through honesty, care, and collaboration, and continually work to improve individual and store results. This is a seasonal position at Macy’s Pentagon City. Scheduling depends on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Requirements

- Meet the physical requirements of talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, and reaching; standing for at least two consecutive hours; lifting at least 25 pounds; stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Responsibilities
