About The Position

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Retail Sales and Merchandising Associate for its high-volume computer and electronics retail store. The role assists customers with purchases, maintains product knowledge through ongoing sales, vendor, and product training, and supports the department through merchandising and store operations. Shifts may occur before or after the store is open to the public and may include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The pay range is $17.00–$30.00+ per hour, including base pay and commission.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strongly preferred: one year of related experience in customer service or a related role.
Sincere interest in helping customers select products that meet their needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and adjust priorities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
Availability for shifts that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as hours before and after the store is open to the public.

Passion for technology, including computers and electronics.
Commissioned sales experience is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with a variety of computer and electronics purchases.
Maintain product knowledge and participate in continued sales, vendor, and product training.
Keep the department clean and perform merchandising activities, including processing freight and completing markdowns.
Participate in opening and closing procedures.
Support store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness.
