About The Position

The Retail Sales Agent handles payment transactions for retail outlets, maintains well-stocked shelves, keeps the sales area clean, and provides superior customer service. The role assists customers with product selection and follows through on sales from the initial introduction through the sale and afterward when needed. The position also supports merchandise receiving, pricing, merchandising, back-stock warehousing, replenishment, and monthly inventory. The agent must understand the sports activities related to the products sold, including golf, tennis, and skiing.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, plus six months of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Understanding of golf, tennis, and skiing activities relevant to the products sold.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection in a timely fashion and follow through on sales from product introduction through the sale and beyond when needed.
Attend vendor clinics and employee training to support the development of the Retail team.
Respond to customer requests promptly and provide S.M.I.L.E.S. guest service.
Assist with receiving merchandise, pricing, merchandising products on the floor, and warehousing back stock.
Assist with daily replenishment of back-stocked products to the sales floor.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Maintain a clean store by following the established cleaning schedule and taking initiative to keep the shop’s appearance outstanding.
Understand the sports activities related to the products sold, including golf, tennis, and skiing.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Handle payment transactions for retail outlets and maintain well-stocked shelves.
