About The Position

The Retail Purchaser is responsible for managing shop inventory and related retail operations. This role involves creating an annual merchandising plan, maintaining an attractive and orderly appearance in retail outlets, and ensuring a target Cost of Goods Sold of 70%. The position also handles all special orders through retail outlets, promotes retail sales to guests and corporations, and manages accurate invoicing and receiving. Other duties and projects may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Retail sales experience
  • Understanding of Open to Buy Plans
  • Work with and create budgets for Sales and Cost of Goods
  • Native American/Alaskan Native preference applies under applicable TERO requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for shop inventory and related areas of retail operation
  • Create annual merchandising plan for retail outlets
  • Maintains attractive, orderly appearance in the retail outlets
  • Maintain a 70% Cost of Goods Sold
  • Responsible for all special orders through retail outlets
  • Promote and encourage retail shop sales through the guests and various corporations
  • Maintain accurate invoicing approval and receiving
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
