About The Position

The Retail Picture Framer builds customer relationships by creating memorable custom framing solutions and helping customers find products in the store. The role supports sales and production results, completes framing orders to a high standard and on time, and maintains assigned store and framing areas. Team members provide friendly customer service, support store operations and safety, and follow company procedures and policies.

The work takes place in a public retail store. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be. The role may involve outdoor work retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and a glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company programs, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions using the company's Elevated ABC approach.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service, help customers find products, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others respectfully, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization's vision and values, and serve as a positive role model.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking, following truck standards and completing work within budget.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with omnichannel processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
