Retail Operations Associate
About The Position
The Retail Operations Associate helps keep the Regency Furniture store safe, clean, organized, and ready for guests. This hands-on, physical, fast-paced position combines warehouse operations, inventory, product assembly, showroom support, cleaning, and basic store maintenance. The associate handles products, helps organize the warehouse and showroom, and maintains a clean, presentable shopping environment. Duties range from unloading trucks and completing inventory counts to assembling furniture, cleaning customer areas, and assisting with product pickups. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods during an 8-hour shift. Employees regularly use their hands and arms and may frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance. The role also involves regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and safely using an 8-foot ladder. Requirements
- Dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a hands-on role.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Able to use basic hand and power tools, including a screwdriver, power drill, hammer, and Allen wrench.
- Comfortable safely using an 8-foot ladder regularly.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Able to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Able to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities
- Unload incoming trucks and safely move products into the warehouse or showroom.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained retail warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Assemble furniture and other products as needed.
- Tighten, adjust, and maintain showroom furniture and displays.
- Assist the Visual Merchandiser with display setup and merchandising.
- Make showroom lighting adjustments as needed.
- Perform minor furniture repairs, touch-ups, dusting, and general product upkeep.
- Assist customers with product pickups and safely load merchandise.
- Maintain clean and presentable restrooms and other customer areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the store.
- Remove trash and maintain clean work areas.
- Assist with painting and minor wall repairs as needed.
- Keep the front entrance clean, including vacuuming and glass cleaning.
- Perform basic showroom and facility maintenance.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the store.
