About The Position

Guitar Center’s Operations Associate supports store operations by handling shipments and inventory, completing daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to provide customers with a positive store experience. The role calls for collaboration, customer focus, initiative, organizational skills, and the ability to learn and use retail technology and equipment. Associates work in a loud environment and must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to inventory control.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Prepare and execute inventory cycle counts.
• Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
• Print and place point-of-purchase and price signage.
• Handle cash.
• Maintain awareness of shrink and help control it.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
