Retail Merchandising Support Associate, Downey Stonewood Center - Part Time
About The Position
As a Merchandising Colleague, also known as a Front of House Colleague, you help deliver a seamless and inspiring in-store experience. You execute merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhance the visual appeal of the sales floor, maintain organized and shoppable displays, and ensure pricing and promotional signage is accurate and current. You are a visible, welcoming presence who greets customers and offers assistance. You work with colleagues across departments to support sales and foster a positive, hospitable environment. Typical work includes preparing and organizing the sales floor, updating mannequins, resetting floor layouts, and following company visual presentation directives. You welcome customers, listen to their needs, and provide assistance and product guidance. You recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, replenish merchandise, and support merchandise moves. You share loyalty program benefits, help customers with their needs, and work with the team to restock and prepare the department. Colleagues are expected to pursue improvement, take pride in their work, meet sales goals, and contribute to individual and store results. This is a part-time position. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Create connections with customers, help the store achieve sales goals, and participate in sales-boosting events.

- Able to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift up to 50 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
