About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers support a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled around a client’s service window rather than fixed hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Duties may include servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise and current promotions. Merchandisers report completed client work on the same day as service. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer goods services, applying software solutions and experienced resources to help ensure clients’ products are available and presented effectively. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old products from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Possibly travel between stores to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
