About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of client and retailer products through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s time window rather than for specific hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. The role involves merchandising activities such as resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising tasks. Some travel between stores may be involved. SPAR has more than 50 years of experience serving companies in retail and consumer goods. It provides services to help clients make products available and present them effectively, using software solutions and experienced resources. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old products from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Possibly travel between stores and manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
