About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandising work is generally scheduled within a client-defined window rather than fixed hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. The role supports a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Work may include servicing products, resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Travel between stores may be required to set up and display merchandise or current promotions. SPAR provides retail and consumer goods services, using software solutions and experienced resources to help clients make their products available and compellingly presented. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
