About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers perform work for a variety of clients and retailers, with service calls generally scheduled within a client’s time window rather than at fixed hours. Work may include servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and other general merchandising activities. Available work is ongoing and may involve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Merchandisers may travel between stores to set up or display merchandise or current promotions. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer goods services, using software solutions and experienced resources to help clients make products available and compellingly presented. The company states that it has more than 50 years of industry experience. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of the service call.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
