About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service products for a variety of clients and retailers, performing resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Work is generally arranged within a client’s service window rather than fixed hours, and visits may be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise and current promotions. Merchandisers report completed client work on the same day of service.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays.
Remove old products from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup and displays or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
