About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers perform work for a variety of clients and retailers, with service calls generally scheduled within a client’s time window rather than fixed hours. Work may include servicing products, resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Ongoing assignments may involve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. The role may require traveling between stores to set up and display merchandise or current promotions. SPAR provides support, training, and opportunities for career advancement and increased hours when available. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of the service call.
Locate displays.
Remove old product from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
