Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than at specific hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Duties may include servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise and current promotions. SPAR has more than 50 years of experience serving companies in retail and consumer goods. It provides end-to-end services intended to keep client products available and compellingly presented, using software solutions and experienced resources to support client return on investment. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays.
Remove old products from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
